The Collegiate Seminar Program at NYU offers local area high school students the opportunity to experience the rigorous, challenging, and dynamic intellectual atmosphere of a college classroom at a major urban research university.
Participants will work closely in small groups with leading NYU faculty. Each session begins with a 90-minute seminar, followed by lunch and a personalized tour of NYU's Washington Square campus.
Students who are selected to participate in the program will attend one of the ten seminars offered below. Students will indicate their seminar preference during the nomination and application process, and will be assigned a seminar if selected.
Participation is selective. Students must be nominated by a counselor, teacher, or school administrator, and then complete an application. There is no cost to participate. The program is open only to students who will be high school juniors in Fall 2019.
