Introduction to Community Innovation at Bronx Innovation Factory

In this free after school STEM program, you’ll learn the fundamentals of digital fabrication and electronics—including 3D modeling and printing, laser cutting, CNC machining, and Arduino—as well as economic democracy and innovation.

This is a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience with the equipment that will be driving innovation and manufacturing in the future, and to learn how to apply those tools to solving community challenges and strengthening the Bronx.

The program also includes a visit to MIT (expenses covered) during spring break and talks from local entrepreneurs who are using advanced manufacturing to build a better Bronx. After successfully completing the program, you’ll also be eligible to apply for paid summer internships with the Bronx Innovation Factory.
