Bridges from School to Work (Meeting Tuesday 10:45)

Bridges from School to Work Bridges is a no-cost program, which helps young adults find good jobs with good employers. Finding a job is one thing—Bridges will also help you develop the work skills to keep those jobs and start building a career path.

 

Bridges is recruiting students who:

  • Want to work
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Are between 17 and 22 years of age
  • Have a documented disability
  • Are willing to follow an employer’s rules and instructions
  • Are motivated to do well

 

Bridges will support students to:

  • Set short- and long-term career goals
  • Create a strong resume
  • Go through the application and interview process
  • Understand what it takes to be a good employee
  • Be successful on the job
  • Start to build a career path
