Dear Families, 

Due to an incident near Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom High School grounds, students and staff will be sheltering-in while authorities investigate. When a shelter-in is in effect, students and staff may not enter or leave the school building, but all classes continue uninterrupted, and students otherwise go about their usual activities. When the investigation has concluded, the shelter-in will be lifted , and students and staff will be free to safely exit and enter the school building as appropriate.

Debido a un incidente ocurrido cerca de las instalaciones de la escuela preparatoria Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom, los estudiantes y el personal se refugiarán en casa mientras las autoridades investigan. Durante la medida de confinamiento, los estudiantes y el personal no podrán entrar ni salir del edificio escolar, pero todas las clases continuarán sin interrupciones y los estudiantes podrán continuar con sus actividades habituales. Una vez concluida la investigación, se levantará la medida de confinamiento y los estudiantes y el personal podrán entrar y salir del edificio escolar de forma segura según corresponda.
