Innovation Institute at New York Hall of Science

MAKE, CHANGE or CREATE a product that benefits your community! You’ll learn how to
do this at the Innovation Institute (I2), a yearlong internship offered by the New York Hall
of Science (NYSCI). The program is open to incoming and current high school students
who are interested in science and technology. I2 will inspire you to discuss, explore and
problem-solve ideas with your peers.

Do I Have to Have Prior Experience Coding or Designing With Tools?
No experience is necessary! We will learn how to use hardware and software, as well as other hand
and digital tools, to solve challenges. We are looking for participants to be engaged,
inquisitive and involved in personal and collaborative projects, as well as being open to
exploring new and different ideas throughout the entire program.
