Last week, Fannie Lou Hamer students
presented the culmination of their work with the MSG Classroom at Madison Square Garden.
Through the Children's Aid Society, students work to understand the ins and outs of working in TV.
According to their website, "Over the course of 8 weeks, "MSG Classroom" students are introduced to the behind-the-scenes world of the television industry and learn first-hand what it takes to put a television show on the air. Students meet with experts in production, editing, directing, camerawork, broadcasting, marketing, public relations and more. The goal of the program is to introduce youth to movie production, editing, organization and script writing."
Students Denise Jones, Ricardo Luciano, Indania Ramirez, Brittney Mangar, Kimmarie Pond, and RayJean Brannon participated in the program this year.
