Students Partner to Preserve Historic Graffiti in Community

FLHFHS students, art teacher Maria Krajewski, and prominent graffiti artists from the South Bronx Community came together last week to create new murals in the courtyard of Fannie Lou Hamer High School. Historic graffiti murals that have decorated nearby Boone Street since the 1990's are being torn down to make way for new construction, so the school and the Bronx River Arts Center came together to crate a new home for the artwork.
