Students Interview Knicks at Madison Square Garden

posted Nov 15, 2014, 8:27 AM by Alison Gazarek
Students Tashawn and Lovell recently conducted interviews at the Knicks/Garden of Dreams Tournament at Madison Square Garden. The students are part of the MSG Classroom program through the Children's Aid Society, and have been mentored by Tina Cervasio, sideline reporter for the Knicks.
The program director writes, "[Tashawn and Lovell] learned the art of asking questions during the heat of a competitive game. In the midst of the activities that were taking place and the advice/ last-minute instructions that they were being given, Tashawn and Lovell performed like professionals. Everyone at CAS and Fannie Lou should be extremely proud of them."

We are proud of our students, and so grateful to programs like CAS and MSG Classroom for providing our students with opportunities to take their learning outside of the classroom and into the city!
