FLH in the World‎ > ‎

College Admissions

Students and families can see the links between the work of school and the world of work. Successful 21st century workers must assume more responsibilities for which they must be able to solve intricate problems themselves. 21st century communities are more complex, requiring members to negotiate multiple positions.

To prepare for these realities, students at FLHFHS are engaged in solving authentic problems that are measured with authentic assessments. Students develop their critical thinking and reading abilities and they take responsibility for personalizing their learning. College and career exploration make the connection between learning and post-secondary planning.
